SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermometry and can be used to determine the room heat losses coefficient K. Claimed method of the room heat loss coefficient K determining comprises the stages, at which in a room applying the heating power Pk of the room for two consecutive time periods (Dk)k=1 or 2 and performing works to measure at least the temperature Tik inside the room at short intervals, and also determining the outside air temperature Tek at short intervals. At that, the heating power P1 for the first period D1 is such that the next parameter (α) was less than or equal to 0.8, while the heating power P2 for the second period of time D2 is substantially zero. For each time period Dk selecting the time interval Δtk, at which the Tik(t) change is substantially linear. For each time interval Δt1 and Δt2 determining the α1 slope or the α2 tangent to the curve Tik(t). Based on the α1 and α2 slopes outputting the Kcalc value of the room heat loss coefficient K.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of obtained data is provided.
