FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely surgical endocrinology. For prediction of efficiency of operative methods of primary hyperparathyroidism treatment at preoperative stage prognostic factor is calculated on the basis of level of parathyroid hormone, level of ionized calcium, level 25(OH)-vitamin D, mineral density of bone tissue, volume of changed parathyroid. If the prognostic coefficient is below 0.8106, high efficiency of minimally invasive interstitial laser photocoagulation under ultrasonic navigation is predicted. If the prognostic coefficient is 0.8106, or more, the high effectiveness of using the surgical management with single-stage removal of the parathyroid is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables preoperative predicting the effectiveness of surgical management by mathematical processing of significant indicators.
