FIELD: handheld cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for shaving. Beard cutting device comprises a handle, a casing and a cutting system with one or more rotary cutting heads with a vertical axis. Rotary heads comprise movable and fixed blades. Each head is surrounded by a crest in the form of a crown. Crest has the possibility of height adjustment for adjustment of the distance between the knives and skin during operation. Casing is fixed on handle with possibility of movement between closed position and open position. Casing can be moved from the open position into the protection position, wherein it is located at one level with the teeth of the device storage flange.
EFFECT: technical result is establishment of desired length of beard hairs during shearing.
