FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Tire has stud holes 3 on outer surface 14a of tread 14. Each of stud holes 3 along central axis 3C has open part 31 on one side, which is open on surface 14a of tread 14, and lower part 32 on the other side. Inner circumferential surface 36 of lower part 32 is curved and convex outward from central axis 3C of stud hole 3. Location 36M of maximum diameter of inner circumferential surface 36 of lower hole part 32 is located on the side of bottom surface 35 of hole in intermediate section between boundary separating open 31 and bottom 32 parts and bottom surface 35 of hole.
EFFECT: said holes provide good characteristic of tire withdrawal from mold after vulcanization and high ability of stud retaining during operation.
