FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for oxidation of electrolyte carbon of an aluminum electrolytic cell. Method includes air supply to electrolyte, wherein the compressed dried exhausted air is supplied from the pneumatic cylinder of the stock charging mechanism of the aluminum electrolyser raw material dosing into alumina, loaded into the compressed dried exhausted air from the pneumatic cylinder of the stock rod charging device charging operation of the aluminum electrolyser raw material loading device loading measuring device, air-saturated alumina is fed from the measuring cup into the dosing device and then into the electrolyte to oxidation the carbon of the electrolyte with atmospheric oxygen.
EFFECT: reduced electric resistance and temperature of electrolyte, improved technical and economic performance of electrolysis cell and utilization of compressed dried exhausted air, as well as reduced losses of fluoride salts.
