FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used to determine information on basic indicators of the body state of a subject. System comprises a marker attached to a body of a subject and/or clothes of a subject and configured to reflect or emit light, said marker having machine-readable information; a lighting device for illuminating a subject with light; a recording device for receiving light reflected from a subject in a first and a second phase; a data processing unit for locating a region of interest in a first phase with the possibility of detecting said marker in light and without using a marker; control unit for controlling said lighting device; an analysis unit for determining information on main indicators of the body state of a subject from light reflected from said region of interest, recorded in said second phase, by remote photoplethysmography. This system is used in the method of determining information on the main indicators of the body state of a subject. Method comprises the following steps: illuminating subject with light, in first frequency range in first phase and in at least second frequency range in second phase; receiving light reflected from a subject; detecting an area of interest in a first phase; said lighting is controlled to locally illuminate only the detected area of interest in the second phase by light; information on the main indicators of the body state of the subject from the light reflected from the said region of interest recorded in the said second phase is determined using the remote photoplethysmography. Steps of the method are realized using a machine-readable medium storing a computer program comprising a software code means.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides accurate and reliable measurements of the main body state indices, including in dark or weak light conditions, with minimization of any anxiety for a subject, in particular a human or animal, and other neighbouring individuals.
