FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectroscopic analysis and a device and a method for hyperspectral and multispectral image formation. Device includes a housing. Light source and a lens are attached to housing. Housing accommodates: a beam control element, a plurality of optical detectors, a plurality of filters, a processor and memory. Beam control element has a plurality of operating modes, each of which assigns element to be in optical communication with a different optical detector in a plurality of optical detectors, displaced relative to path of optical communication. Each filter covers corresponding optical detector in a plurality of optical detectors, filtering light received by corresponding detector from beam control element. Processor is in electrical communication with light source, beam control element and plurality of optical detectors.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of analysis time and reducing power consumption of device.
