FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to means of supporting part of body in magnetic resonance imaging. Device for supporting a body part comprises a hose configured to support a body portion, wherein the hose comprises a circular chamber which is configured to pump substantially all air contained therein, and flexible surface receiving RF coils elements for magnetic resonance imaging, located inside the circular chamber and configured to ensure their compliance with the shape of said body part when pumping air, and a port passing through the hose, configured to connect elements of flexible surface receiving RF coils inside the circular chamber with a magnetic resonance imaging device (MRI) outside the circular chamber, while maintaining air-tightness of the circular chamber. Method comprises steps of attaching a hose around an injured body portion comprising a chamber which is configured to pump substantially all air contained therein, substantially evacuating all air from the chamber, thereby providing the shape matching of the elements of the flexible surface receiving RF coils of said body part, attaching elements of flexible surface receiving RF coils inside the chamber to a device for magnetic resonance imaging outside the chamber by means of a port which passes through the hose, while maintaining air-impermeability of the camera, and imaging the injured body part using the magnetic resonance imaging device, wherein said elements of the surface RF coils act as a receiving visualization coil.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to provide immobilization during MR imaging.
