FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of machine building. Device for balancing the shaft comprises a flat cylindrical band. Belt comprises outer surface, inner surface and two crushing points. Tape outer diameter is slightly smaller than shaft inner diameter. Balance weight is attached to outer surface of belt between two points of collapse. Crushing points protrude radially inward from the inner surface of the belt and can be deformed outwards. Method of balancing weights attachment to shaft includes belt compression. Balanced shaft assembly comprises a shaft and shaft balancing device. Device for shaft balancing is arranged inside the shaft.
EFFECT: reduced static imbalance is achieved.
