FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing self-expanding three-dimensional article from composite material. Technical result is achieved by the method of manufacturing self-unfolding volumetric article out of composite material, which includes laying of workpiece of material on tooling and its hardening. Note here that billet forming is carried out by putting solid billet representing sleeve into 3D shaping tooling with required geometric parameters. After that, the workpiece is marked on the sections subject to and not subject to polymerisation, impregnation with the binder of sections subject to polymerisation is carried out. Binder is a cold cure epoxy composition. Then binder is hardened to produce finished three-dimensional item, the article is removed from tooling and folded into transportation state.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture of article.
