FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: automatic device for compensation of losses in consumer network to reactive component of voltage supplied from alternating current network, comprises a step-up transformer, a step-down transformer comprising a primary winding, identical to the secondary winding of the step-up transformer and connected to the secondary winding of the step-up transformer, and secondary winding, identical to primary winding of step-up transformer. Opposite-connected secondary winding of step-up transformer and primary winding of step-down transformer form circuit for generation of second harmonic of voltage, providing, when supplying to step-up transformer of voltage from alternating current network, generation of second harmonic of voltage in windings and magnetic conductors of transformers, so that frequency of external oscillations of alternating current network voltage is doubled in circuit for generation of second harmonic of voltage, which provides formation of autoparametric resonance in it, and electromagnetic field intensity oscillations occur via small hysteresis loop of magnetic conductor of step-down transformer.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of flexibility of compensation for losses to reactive power at variable inductive load.
