FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for complex minimally invasive treatment of abdominal abscesses. That is ensured by drainage of the abscess cavity under ultrasound control, irrigation and aspiration of cavity with 0.9 % sodium chloride solution. Volume of evacuated exudate is determined from an abscess cavity. Cavity is irrigated and aspirated by 0.9 % sodium chloride three times. Thereafter, a photosensitizer "Photosens®" is introduced into the pathological focus in dilution in dose of 2 mg/ml with 0.9% sodium chloride in an amount equal to the volume of initially evacuated exudate. After 30 minutes, the photosensitizer solution is aspirated. Fluoroplastic fiber with diameter of 400 mcm etched at end with 40 % hydrofluoric acid is introduced through the mounting cannula into the abscess cavity. Performing laser irradiation of cavity for 30 minutes with power of continuous radiation of 180 mWt, power density of laser radiation at fiber end is 1.4 Wt/cm².

EFFECT: method provides reduced level of endogenous intoxication in earlier terms, reduced time of obtaining negative bacteriological culture, earlier clinical improvement of patients.
