FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely surgery, and can be used for the sanitation of abdominal wounds, fistulas and the treatment of purulent swells. Under ultrasound navigation, puncture and drainage of the cavity, streak or pocket of a purulent wound, washing with a 0.9% sodium chloride solution to "clear waters" are carried out. The wound cavity along the drainage is filled with methylene blue, at a concentration of 0.02%. An optical fiber is inserted into the cavity along the drainage through the installation cannula. Optical fiber diameter 400 mcm, wavelength 640±10 nm, total luminous flux 280 lm. The source of laser radiation is the laser therapeutic apparatus "Mustang 2000". A laser irradiation session is performed for 10 minutes.
EFFECT: method helps to reduce the time of cleansing and wound healing due to the achievement of pronounced antibacterial and antifungal effects by performing photodynamic therapy using methylene blue.
