FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, can be used for percutaneous transhepatic antimicrobial photodynamic therapy of pyogenic hepatic abscesses. That is ensured by percutaneous transside drainage of hepatic abscess under ultrasonic and X-ray television navigation under local infiltration anesthesia. Drainage is performed along the shortest drainage path with Dawson-Mueller COOK stylet-catheter (USA) with a tip of "pig tail" type with diameter from 7 to 14 Fr with further evacuation of exudate. Then 0.35 % of radahlorin is introduced into abscess cavity in concentration 0.1 mg/kg of body weight with exposition of preparation in abscess cavity within 30 minutes. Thereafter, a pathological lesion is exposed to radiation in a continuous mode for 20 minutes at laser radiation wavelength 662 Nm 1.00 W using an endoscopic fiber-optic catheter with a microlens.
EFFECT: method provides improved treatment results ensured by fast and effective sanitation of surgical infection centers, reduced duration of hospital treatment.
