FIELD: medicine; biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optimization of photodynamic exposure, and can be used in pus surgery, particularly in treating localized circumscribed peritonitis (LCP). Method involves opening of abscess, aspiration of contents, sanitation and introduction into abscess cavity of solutions of intralipid in concentration of 0.24% and methylene blue in concentration of 0.0001% as a sensitizer with simultaneous photodynamic effect of red light-emitting diode radiation 660 nm with a power density of 30 mW/cm2 for 15 days after the formation of a purulent abscess.
EFFECT: method enables reducing microbial contamination, accelerated obliteration of the purulent abscess cavity and reducing the length of treatment by 5 days.
