FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling multi-sectional rudder of an aircraft. To control multi-section rudder, each section control commands are generated to provide required moments. When sections are out of order they are disconnected and fixed in position close to neutral, and section symmetric to it is continued to be used by changing control laws of separate sections.
EFFECT: ensuring maximum stability and controllability of aircraft.
