FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: control device for multi-section rudder drives of an aircraft contains K sensors for monitoring aircraft parameters, connected by a common data bus to N rudder section servo units, each containing a rudder section drive with a rudder section angular position sensor and a computer, including a control module, a control command generation module, and a majority sampling control module connected in a certain way.

EFFECT: improved stability and controllability of the aircraft in case of failure/jamming of the rudder section is ensured by generating individual control commands for each serviceable section of the multi-section rudder, taking into account the angular position of the failed section.
