FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a driver circuit for providing current to a load. Result is achieved due to that driver circuit comprises driver unit (50), which supplies current for load (51) based on input voltage (10), comprising first and second outputs (10a, 10b). Driver unit (50) comprises linear driver, which comprises current control element (Q3) between input and load, wherein said element has controlled resistive characteristic. Compensation unit (52) connected in series with driver unit (50) and input supplies compensating voltage. It is used to control voltage on driver unit depending on input voltage and working conditions of load. Compensation unit (52) comprises pulse power converter and second capacitor (C2) as energy source of pulse power converter, wherein current control element (Q3), load (51) and the second capacitor (C2) are in series connection between the first and second terminals (10a, 10b). Thus, operating range of driver unit may be reduced to reduce power losses on driver unit, and the compensating voltage can also be used with the energy collection system to increase the overall efficiency of the system.
EFFECT: technical result is optimization of voltage drop on linear switch in order to reduce power losses.
