SUBSTANCE: use: for protection against radiation. Summary of invention consists in the fact that protective device with lead shields includes: at least two lead shields; a reference unit comprising a work area and a waiting area; a first transmitting unit configured to drive the lead shields for movement in the transport channel; and a second transmitting unit configured to transmit lead shields between the waiting area and the working area, wherein the second transmitting unit is configured to transmit the lead shields from the standby region to the working area such that the lead shields enter the initial point of the transport channel and are located behind the object, subject to inspection; first transmitting unit is configured to actuate lead shields for synchronous movement with the article to be inspected, in front and driving the lead screens to move from the initial point of the working area to the initial point of the waiting area; and the second transmitting unit is further configured to drive the lead shields for entry into the waiting area and movement in the waiting area.
EFFECT: possibility of adaptive adjustment of intervals between lead shields in accordance with parameters of movement of objects to be inspected on a belt conveyor, protection from radiation in the transport channel, improved effect of radiation protection in the transport channel, as well as improved safety of the detection device.
