SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of dynamic effects in lighting system containing one or more lighting sources. Disclosed method of controlling a lighting system comprising one or more lighting sources (4) for reproducing a dynamic lighting scene includes receiving a first user input to select one or more colours for the lighting scene, receiving a second user input to select a dynamic effect for a lighting scene and reproducing a lighting scene with said one or more colours and a dynamic effect based on the first and second user inputs, respectively, wherein the second user input includes user motion by the mobile user terminal, and reception of the second user input includes motion detection of the mobile user terminal.

EFFECT: providing an input means for controlling dynamic illumination by perceiving user input by movement of a mobile user terminal.
