SUBSTANCE: invention relates to annotation of information on points of interest. A method of annotating information on a point of interest based on division of structures, which includes determining, by a processor, one or more visual presentations of at least one structure, detecting one or more visual attributes on said one or more visual presentations of at least one structure, determining one or more divisions of said at least one structure at least in part based on one or more visual attributes detected on one or more visual presentations, determining one or more points of interest associated with at least one structure, and making a decision on displaying said one or more points of interest at least in part based on said one or more divisions.
EFFECT: enabling annotation of information on points of interest based on division of structures.
