FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fixture for fixing a plunger with a stepped shank having a serially arranged face part, a smooth cylindrical part and a threaded part during machining on a lathe. Housing of appliance is configured to be fixed on its outer cylindrical surface in the chuck of the machine and has a unit for installation of the processed plunger. Centring part is intended for placement between the processed plunger from the side opposite to its shank, and rear centre of the machine tool. One side of the centring part is made with possibility of resting against the end surface of the plunger, and the second side is designed so that to enable the rear centre of the machine to thrust against it. Unit of the processed plunger installation is made in the form of an axial stepped blind hole located on one of the end sides of the housing, having an in-series step with a smooth cylindrical surface made with possibility of placing the plunger shank end part with its projection from the hole to the outside. Stage with smooth cylindrical surface can be arranged with smooth cylindrical part of plunger shank with a gap. Step with internal thread is made with possibility of screwing of threaded part of plunger shank. On the other end face of the body there is a coaxial protrusion in the form of a faceted head.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing auxiliary time for fastening, installation and positioning of the part and improving accuracy of plunger type positioning.
