SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to picking of honey, namely to the devices for opening the honeycombs. Electric knife for opening the bee honeycombs contains the rectangular frame, which is made of a strip of metal with high thermal conductivity, it has one side in the shape of a blade with a cutting edge with the possibility of heating by means of the heating element. Ends of the frame on the side, which is opposite to the blade, are connected to each other in order to form the rod, which is perpendicular to the frame and is configured in order to be mounted to the electric soldering iron. Device also comprises the master plate, which is made in the shape of a roller made of non-metallic material with low thermal conductivity, the roller is reinforced with rubber and mounted on the sides of the frame on the rotation axis parallel to the blade. Electric knife is provided with the comb-capping accumulator, the receiving tray of which adjoins the blade from the side of the output of the cut off comb-capping.

EFFECT: invention provides for the increased productivity and quality of the technological process, which is performed by means of eliminating the adhesion of the cut off comb-capping to the honeycombs.
