FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: electric knife comprises the rectangular frame with one side in the form of a blade adapted to heating, with a cutting edge, and the copier, and also the heating element. The frame is made of a metal strip with high thermal conductivity. The ends of the frame on the side opposite the blade, are interconnected to form a rod disposed perpendicularly to the frame. The copier is made in the form of a roll of non-metallic material with low thermal conductivity, reinforced with rubber and mounted on the lateral frame sides on the rotation axis parallel to the blade. The rod is made with the possibility to be installed in an electric soldering iron.

EFFECT: provision of heating the blade without contact with a source of electric current, eliminating the copiers friction on the honeycomb surface.
