FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engine building, namely, to design of fans, in particular to fan blade-type platforms and methods of their production from composite materials. Fan platform is made of composite thermoplastic material reinforced with carbon or hybrid fabric, and comprises outer shell, on inner surface of which is mounted structural part, equipped with external flanges for installation. Structural part of platform is made of W-shaped cross-section from thin-walled sheet. In longitudinal section structural part expands in air flow from front part of platform to rear part of platform. In the middle of the structural part there is an inner projection for connection to the inner surface of the outer shell, and along edges of structural part there are flanges for connection with inner surface of outer shell. Outer shell is connected to structural part by means of glue or welding of thermoplastic binder. In making a fan platform from sheets of thermoplastic composite material based on carbon or hybrid fabric, first, a workpiece in form of a sheet for outer shell, is stamped with holding in stamp, and obtained outer shell of platform is directed for machining of edges. Structural part of W-shaped cross-section is produced from blank in the form of sheet of thermoplastic composite material; for this purpose, sheet is heated and stamped with holding in die, obtained structural part of platform is directed for mechanical processing of edges. Outer shell and structural part are interconnected by glue or thermoplastic binder welding, which are applied on outer flanges and inner ledge of structural part.
EFFECT: group of inventions improves stiffness of the inter-blade fan platform in the radial direction, reduces its weight and simplifies fabrication.
