FIELD: ultrasonic processing.
SUBSTANCE: method for ultrasonic consolidation of composite products. The technical result is achieved by a method of ultrasonic consolidation of composite products, which includes manufacturing multiple layers of material from sheets having contact surfaces between them, giving the sheets a shape corresponding to the description of the object, and placing the layers in position to form the object. Forming an object as described by transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to one or more of the contact surfaces perpendicular to the layers, repeating the previous step to form multiple layers of the object by ultrasonic bonding of at least two layers of the object simultaneously until the object is formed. The sheets to be joined are prepregs with a thermosetting binder, reinforced with fabrics based on carbon, glass, aramid or other fibers. Ultrasonic exposure is carried out discretely at a static pressure of the tool on the joined layers of 20-25 N, the amplitude and resonant frequency of oscillations are set equal to 12-15 μm and 22 kHz, respectively, the exposure time in each spot of contact interaction between the tool-concentrator and the prepreg is limited by the heating temperature of the bonding composite prepreg, in which a temporary transition to a highly elastic/plastic state is possible without destructive changes, and the tool displacement step is taken such that the overlap of the impact areas is ensured by no more than 25%, but not less than 10%.
EFFECT: increasing the bending strength of products and reducing the consolidation time in each area of ultrasound exposure.
