FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio equipment. Waveguide ferrite switch with magnetic memory includes waveguide branching, in the centre of which between the dielectric spacers there is a ferrite insert with a control winding, wherein the ferrite insert consists of identical ferrite elements adjoining each other closely, number of which corresponds to the number of arms of the device and in each of which there is a hole for the control winding, representing in plan a convex pentagon formed from rectangle, in which one of short sides is replaced by broken line of two equal sections.
EFFECT: technical result is improved manufacturability of ferrite waveguide switch design with magnetic memory.
