SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technological processes. Process control device comprises a communication interface with other devices in the process control system for the control signal exchange; main power supply and terminal. Terminal is configured to electrically connect process control device to auxiliary power source so that auxiliary power supply source provides at least one component with sufficient energy and actuated locking device when connecting auxiliary power source with said terminal so that process control device remained operable to control technological process without main power source.
EFFECT: interruption of power supply is not allowed.
