FIELD: processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing industry and can be used in process of recycling polymer materials for their further use for corrosion protection of steel pipes of oil and gas transport systems. Method of processing secondary raw materials based on polyethylene involves grinding the initial secondary polymer material with further purification, drying and agglomeration thereof. Ground polymer stock is first washed with water at temperature from 14 to 25 °C with its further flotation and drying, followed by homogenisation and agglomeration, then polymer mass is extruded at pressure from 200 to 280 atm and at temperature from 100 to 220 °C, which varies on heating zones distributed along the cylindrical body of the screw extruder along the polymer mass advance. Number of heating zones ranges from 5 to 10. Extrusion of the polymer mass is carried out with simultaneous addition of a heat stabilizer and functional additives with further degassing and filtration of the obtained polymer composition and subsequent granulation.
EFFECT: invention increases quality of the polymer composition obtained based on secondary raw material and increases service life of external anticorrosive coating of pipelines made from the disclosed composition.
