FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of inorganic materials. Disclosed is an inorganic oxide material, comprising: (a) from 25 to 90 parts by weight of Al2O3; (b) from 5 to 35 parts by weight of CeO2; and (c) (i) from 5 to 35 parts by weight of MgO, or (c) (ii) from 2 to 20 parts by weight of Pr6O11, or (c) (iii) from 5 to 35 parts by weight of MgO and from 2 to 20 parts by weight of Pr6O11. Material contains (i) first crystallites containing Al2O3 and at least one oxide selected from MgO and Pr6O11, and (ii) second crystallites containing CeO2. Material is characterized by specific surface area after firing at 900 °C for 2 hours, greater than or equal to 150 m2/g, and total volume of pores after firing at 900 °C for 2 hours, greater than or equal to 1.0 cm3/g.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain material with high heat resistance and high catalytic activity with respect to exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine.
