FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to radar measurements, and can be used in measurement of reflection coefficient (RC) of flat samples of radar absorbent coatings. Said result is achieved due to that device for measuring reflection coefficient of electromagnetic waves from radar absorbent coatings comprises series-connected transceiving antenna, antenna switch, transceiving device and processing and indication unit, analyzed sample of radar absorbent coating on metal plate, in-series connected information input unit and movement mechanism, wherein the transceiving antenna is made in form of a parabolic mirror, the radiator of which is configured to move from the focus along the focal axis of the parabolic mirror, besides, the movement mechanism is connected to the radiator, wherein reflection coefficient of electromagnetic waves is determined by ratio of power of signals reflected from sample of radar absorbent coating on metal plate and reference metal plate.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is increase of accuracy and expansion of dynamic range of radar absorbent coatings reflection coefficient measurements in frequency band.
