FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device contains framed series input and processing block, control and exchange unit, sweep circuit and ultrabandwidth (UBW) receiver with pickup antenna. UBW signal generator with pickup antenna is connected to the second output of sweep circuit. Output of UBW receiver is connected to control and exchange unit; analysed EWSC sample and reference metal plate. Separating plate made of electromagnetic wave scattering material is mounted between pickup and transmitting aerials. Supporting device is spaced from transmitting aerial on distance R. Analysed EWSC sample and reference metal plate have perimeter EWSM fringe in section A×A, and
where D is maximum linear dimension of analysed EWSC sample; λmin, λmax are minimum and maximum wavelengths of analysed range.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
