FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a method of making a part from a composite material, comprising forming a fibrous structure of refractory fibers, placing the fibrous structure in a mold over a porous material element mounted in a lower part of the mold in the impregnation chamber. Upper part of the impregnation chamber is closed by a deformable impermeable diaphragm, which separates the impregnation chamber from the compression chamber. In impregnating chamber there is injected suspension containing refractory solid particles powder, and compression chamber - squeezing liquid, wherein suspension penetrates into fibrous structure and there is drainage of suspension liquid through porous element, leaving powder of refractory solid particles inside said structure, in order to obtain fibre workpiece, filled with refractory solid particles. Impregnated workpiece is dried, removed from mold and sintered.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is providing fast and reliable method of application and distribution of solid particles in fibrous structure in order to reduce amount of macropores in material.
