FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of purification or separation of target biomaterials from liquid mixtures. Described is an ordered filtration material for purification and / or extraction of biomaterial from liquid, containing: (i) a first filtering layer comprising an anion-exchange nonwoven substrate, the anion-exchange nonwoven substrate comprising a plurality of quaternary ammonium groups; and (ii) a second filter layer comprising a functionalised microporous membrane, wherein the functionalised microporous membrane contains a plurality of guanidyl groups. First filtering layer is located upstream of the second filtering layer. Described also is a filtering device for purifying and/or extracting biomaterials from liquids and a method of filtering biological fluids.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a filter material having high ability to purify cellular debris from liquid, high capacity for substantial DNA recovery from liquid, high degree of recovery of host cell protein, while also minimizing the number of stages of the process.
