FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface treatment of filled microporous membrane. Method for surface treatment of microporous membrane containing polyolefin polymer matrix; finely divided inorganic filler, essentially water-insoluble, distributed on said matrix; and a network of interconnected pores interconnected in the entire microporous membrane, wherein said inorganic filler is selected from a group consisting of silica, alumina, calcium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, as well as mixtures thereof; wherein the method includes successively implementing: contacting the surface of the membrane with a treatment composition containing a silane functionalised polyamine compound having an alkoxysilane group and which is in close contact with the filler present in the matrix; and subjecting the membrane to conditions sufficient for the condensation reaction to occur between the inorganic filler and the silane functionalised polyamine compound. Also disclosed are treated membranes.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of processing a surface of a filled microporous membrane.
