FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamelling surface of metal articles. Method involves preparing mixtures of three frit of different composition – fusible frit with grain fraction of more than 4 mesh, fusible frit with grain fraction of 40–50 mesh and refractory frit with grain fraction of not less than 60–70 mesh, which are mixed with distilled water and clay. Thereafter, the surface of the article is first coated with a layer of a mixture of a fusible frit with a grain fraction of more than 4 mesh, a second layer is a mixture of a fusible frit with a grain fraction of 40–50 mesh, and third is a mixture of refractory frit with grain fraction of not less than 60-70 mesh and after application of said layers by conducting on surface of article sharp toothed object pattern is obtained and drying at room temperature for 20–25 minutes followed by single annealing for 4–5 minutes at temperature 800–900 °C.
EFFECT: invention, while saving power consumption, enables to obtain a plastic decorative enamel coating which is resistant to impacts.
