FIELD: nuclear equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermonuclear reactor. Reactor comprises a vacuum chamber, channels for feeding gaseous reagents into the chamber, inlet and outlet headers of the heat carrier cooling the chamber. Chamber is made in the form of hollow cylinder, which inner surface is coated with porous material wetted by molten lithium and forming cylindrical reflector, hollow cylinder wall has longitudinal channels for cooling heat carrier supplied by means of inlet collector and discharged by means of outlet collector. Inlet and outlet headers are made with sliding seals along the vacuum chamber end sides, along the end sides axes there are sliding and insulated metal inputs of the gaseous reagents supply channels, to which constant voltage is applied, causing breakdown of chamber gas filling and formation of primary plasma cord. On the outer side of the vacuum chamber there are microwave radiators which heat lithium in the porous material on the inner surface of the vacuum chamber, and magnetic systems, magnetic field lines of which penetrate inside vacuum chamber and form action on plasma cord towards axis of cylindrical vacuum chamber, resting on roller bearings, providing rotation of chamber.
EFFECT: control of thermal power of the reactor, higher stability of the plasma cord and increase in its temperature.
