FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, mainly to pipeline valves, namely to valves with rotary plugs. Valve comprises housing with inlet and outlet channels, in which in two seats there is a shut-off device connected to its rotation drive and made with through hole, wherein the valve is provided with at least one pair of guide vanes fixed on the housing inner wall in symmetry to each other relative to the vertical section plane of the housing extending along the housing central axis, wherein one of the pair blades is fixed on the inner surface of the inlet channel of the housing, and the second one – on the inner surface of the outlet channel of the housing, and the sealing gasket located in the upper part of the housing between the internal surface of the valve housing and the outer surface of the shut-off member, besides, the guide vanes comprise concave sections facing the bottom part of the housing.

EFFECT: redistribution of flows (cross-flow of transported medium) is achieved inside the valve housing during opening/closing with self-cleaning of the bottom part of the housing by the transported medium.
