FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves and accessories and is designed to shut off and control the medium flows. The device body, furnished with inlet and outlet channels, houses a seat with a hole. The said seat accommodates a gate with a sealing surface and a hole, an insert and a sealing element arranged between the guides. The said gate is linked with the drive con-rod. The gate hole accommodates a shut-off element representing a ball plug with a shaft arranged on the side of and parallel to the con-rod. The shaft top part is furnished with a pin axially and radially fixed thereto with its ends extending beyond the shaft ends. The ball plug has a through hole with its diameter exceeding that of the insert hole. A fixed sleeve with radial slots is arranged inside the body facing the shaft. The aforesaid slots are arranged at an angle to the vertical axis. The shaft pin ends are fitted in the sleeve radial slots to allow the shaft turn through 90° on opening/closing the device. The gate has a channel facing the shaft to communicate the inlet channel with the gate hole. The sealing element is arranged on the con-rod end face, on the gate side. The sealing device shuts off the gate channel on closing the gate.
