SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of vehicles wheel tire assembly. Technical result is achieved by vehicle tires assembly method, which includes formation of tire component (2) on shaping drum (14). Component is formed by supplying a continuous rubber band (15), cutting the continuous rubber band (15) in size, applying a cut continuous rubber band (15) on shaping drum (14). Besides, the section by size includes movement of knife (30) formed by the first half part (46) and the second half part (50), above the continuous rubberized belt (15) near the central part of the cutting zone. Lifting of part of rubber band (15) with lifting element (25) arranged under continuous rubberized belt (15) and nearby cutting zone. Lowering first half part (46) of knife (30), providing its movement relative to second half part (50) until it forms an opening in rubberized tape (15), and insertion of first half part (46) into said hole. Together, the first half part (46) and the second half part (50) move along the cutting direction (T) and in the cutting direction to form slot (70) in rubberized belt (15) by means of the first half part (46). Lowering of the second half part (50), providing its movement relative to the first half part (46) until the second half part (50) is inserted into slot (70). Symmetric movement of first and second half parts (46, 50) is synchronous to each other in opposite directions and along direction (T) of cutting.

EFFECT: technical result is higher quality of cutting semi-finished product and quality of tire.
