FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for assembling tyres of vehicle wheels. Reinforcing circular structural element (7a) of tire (2), which is in process of manufacture, is formed by means of the following operations. Forming drum (19) is placed, which carries surface ("S1") from outside for application in preset position. Application element (46) is arranged to apply force towards surface ("S1") for application in preset position. Continuous elongated element (34) is directed in longitudinal direction to place ("P") of application between surface ("S1") for application and working surface (48) formed by element (46) for application. Continuous elongated member (34) is wound in circumferential direction around surface ("S1") for application to form coils ("C") which are adjacent to each other in axial direction. During winding working surface (48) of element (46) for application functions close to at least one of turns ("C"), previously formed by continuous elongated element (34), when adjoining to it.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher quality of products.
