RADAR STATION FOR MONITORING OF ICE CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01S13/08

Abstract RU 2699766 C1

FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to homodyne radars. Said result is achieved due to that homodyne radar comprises transmitting and receiving channels (antennas of which are spaced apart on base d), spectral shaping devices (for example, FFT) and multichannel device for measuring phase difference, and to increase accuracy of measuring phase difference in receiving channels, possibility of calibrating identity of receiving channels (by amplitude and phase), for which circuit includes switching switches of test signal.

EFFECT: creation of a radar station for monitoring ice conditions, which requires extended range of action (to provide a wide field of view) and possibility of measuring the second coordinate (height) of the object being surveyed for selecting and determining coordinates of icebergs and assessing the degree of danger.
