FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to a homodyne radar. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in a homodyne radar containing a sounding signal generator, a circulator, a transmitting and receiving antenna, a mixer, an amplifier, an amplitude modulator, an amplifier with a quadratic amplitude-frequency response, a time window function generator, a rotating transition, a scanning device and a device for parallel spectral analysis, interconnected in a certain way, an additional unit for primary and secondary processing of radar information is included, and an antenna array with combined control of the radiation pattern is used as a receiving and transmitting antenna: electromechanical for all-round viewing and electronic for sectoral viewing.
EFFECT: creation of a homodyne radar with increased capacity, providing a high rate of survey of the space based on a combined (electromechanical and electronic) scanning of the space with the antenna radiation pattern.
