FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to homodyne radar. Technical result is achieved due to that homodyne radar comprises a probing signal generator, a circulator, a receiving-transmitting antenna, a mixer, an amplifier, an amplitude modulator, an amplifier with a quadratic amplitude-frequency characteristic, a time window function generator, rotary transition, scanning device and parallel spectral analysis device, connected to each other in a certain way.
EFFECT: design of a homodyne radar which provides high space scanning rate owing to scanning of the space with an antenna pattern (estimating two coordinates of the location object: range and azimuth) with the rest of the radar units stationary, with the possibility of connecting the radar to a standard operator workplace with an all-around sight indicator (AASI).
