FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture, namely to veterinary gynecology. Disclosed is a preparation for preventing and treating endometritis in cows in the form of a plant extract of raw material from birch wood processing wastes in a water-dispersed state, with the following ratio of components: raw material from birch wood processing wastes – 18–22 wt%, water – balance. Raw material contains birch bark and bast lubes at the following ratio: birch bark – 17–23 wt%, birch bast – 77–83 wt%. Also disclosed is a method for preparing a preparation for preventing and treating endometritis in cows by extraction, including grinding raw materials, pouring with distilled water and treatment with frequency vibrations. Grinding is performed to 1–2 mm fraction, vibration treatment is carried out using oscillations in infrasound frequency range. Duration of vibration treatment is 15–16 days to obtain water-dispersed with particle size of 15–27 mcm vegetal extract of raw material from wastes of birch wood processing. Then, the extract is packaged in sterile conditions.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an effective herbal preparation for treating cows' endometritis.
