FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hunting equipment, namely, to restoration of cartridge shells. Method of cartridge cartridge restoration, on which shooting shot cap is removed, provide shooting shells, which preserve geometrical shape and size of cartridge, having paper or plastic housing and metal bottom with edge, it involves molding of fired shells and removal of shot percussion simultaneously per one movement. Shaping of shot cartridges is made in the form of case and liner case crimping, for this purpose on the baseing pin containing the decapsulator with needle, the support bushing is threaded, the crimping ring is installed on the support bushing, and inside the space formed by the support bushing and the crimping ring, the firing cartridge is placed on the baseing finger with the bottom up and is supported by the shooting cap on the decapsulator unit needle. On the shell bottom base, the pusher-pusher is installed with the base upwards and pressed against it against the stop, than the sleeve is pressed into the clamping ring, namely, the sleeve is pressed into the clamping ring and thereby the housing and the cartridge bottom are squeezed, simultaneously with the cartridge sleeve pressing into the squeezing ring, firing cap from the cartridge case is squeezed out and retaining the extracted cap inside the pusher washer, thereafter, washer-pusher with removable shot capsule is removed from shell bottom. Crimp ring is removed from thrust bushing with sleeve fitted therein. A bearing bushing is removed from the basing finger. To remove from the sleeve of a crimping ring, a sleeve with a clamping ring installed on it is put on the basing finger with a decapsulator, thereby suspending the clamping ring with a sleeve inserted into it. Removal tool made up of inverted cup with inner diameter greater than that of case bottom base is fitted on end face of crimping ring to force the clamp ring from the sleeve. Crimping case and liner crimping, as well as removal of clamping ring from sleeve are carried out in one vertical plane without sleeve turn.
EFFECT: higher quality of shooting of shot cases and productivity of their recovery at preservation of geometric shape and standard sizes of cartridge.
