SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Rotor for rotary electric machine includes rotor core having channels for magnets, and magnets inserted into said channels. Each of magnets includes two first surfaces facing respectively outside and inside radial direction of rotor, and two second surfaces facing respectively to one side and other side of rotor circumferential direction. Both ends in axial direction of rotor of at least one first surface of two first surfaces are coated with electrically insulating films, and transverse surface area between both ends of one first surface, which are covered with electric insulating films, and two second surfaces are not coated with electric insulating films.
EFFECT: reduced losses for eddy currents.
