FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: signal transmission device employs a waveguide. The first end of the waveguide with an acoustic transducer is bent at right angles to its axis, and the detecting element is in form of a rod and is connected to the second end of the waveguide through a seal assembly in form of a double cone. The cone is provided with a shoulder which is tightly attached to the housing, where grooves are made on both sides of the shoulder, and one or more depressions, mainly with a triangular shape, are made on the surface of the detecting element along its length.

EFFECT: high reliability of the indicator when used in different liquids, simpler and stronger structure of the device.
