FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and relates to infrared spectrometric system for vapor-phase monitoring of chemical composition of liquid hydrocarbon mixes in a tank. System includes a reservoir partially filled with a liquid mixture of substances. Metal gas line is connected to the upper part of the reservoir. Gas pipeline is connected to pump with controlled capacity of pumped gas, which is intended for gas supply into heated gas cuvette of infrared spectrometer. Outlet nozzle of gas cuvette is connected to upper part of reservoir by means of gas line. Gas cuvette is placed in a cuvette compartment of a FT-IR spectrometer, and the infrared spectrometer is connected to a personal computer. Infrared spectrometer automatically measures transmission or optical density of the cuvette with a vapor phase in a periodic scanning mode of the infrared spectrum. Graphical dependence of optical density of selected absorption bands on time of its measurement is constructed in real time.
EFFECT: simple measurement method, high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
