FIELD: spectroscopy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of spectroscopy and concerns a device and a method for study of liquid biological samples in the infrared range. The device includes a spectrometer, which provides a possibility of Fourier transform of a signal, a node for cold background formation, a mirror. The device additionally contains a measuring node, a liquid thermostat, a controller, and a unit for processing of spectrometer signals, connected to a computer. The spectrometer contains a vacuumized case with a cooled detector placed in the case. The measuring node is placed in a thermostated cuvette. The node for cold background formation additionally contains a flat thermostat of a black plate, made with the possibility of stabilization of its temperature in the range from 0 to +100°C. The thermostated cuvette provides quick adjustment of a thickness of a layer of liquid under study due to a change in a thickness of a gasket in the measuring node between the first and the second spectral windows of the node.

EFFECT: provision of a possibility of highly sensitive spectral analysis of liquid biological samples without external radiation effect.
